We will assist in your research and will take orders for study of your samples using the following methods:

  • Scanning tunneling microscopy

  • Atomic force microscopy

  • Scanning resistance microscopy

  • Magnetic force microscopy

  • Scanning electrostatic microscopy

  • Studies using biosensors

  • Atomic balance measurement

  • Study of adsorption properties of nanoparticles

  • Study of biospecific interactions in molecular systems

We will help you in:

  • Sample preparation

  • Selection of optimal measurement modes

  • Analysis and data processing

  • Preparation of statistical information

  • Reports compilation

  • Scientific manuscripts writing

Recommendations for the preparation and the providing of the samples:

  1. The samples should not be more than 10x10x5 mm
  2. To apply a liquid sample, use a solid smooth substrate, such as mica, graphite, glass.
  3. Use 2-sided masking tape and a Petri dish to transport samples. Only the edge of the sample should be glued
  4. For convenience of scanning, you can fix the sample on a solid substrate 0.5-1 mm thick and 8-10 mm in diameter using a 2-sided adhesive tape.
  5. The sample should not be contaminated with handprints, etc.
  6. Each sample (as well as each Petri dish) must be numbered, signed, have a written description and a unique name. Description send to mail spm@nanoscopy.ru
  7. Samples should not be radioactive, must not contain live viruses, or be biologically hazardous in any other way.
  8. Delivery of samples is carried out at the expense of the client, independently or by express mail (we recommend using the services of Major Express).

The description must specify:

Please provide the following information:

  • Name and characteristics of each sample (such as name and structural formula of a chemical compound)

  • Method of sample preparation (conditions, solvents, etc.). In the case of usage of substrate material, it is recommended to describe its properties, and provide a clean substrate for the study. In the case of study of a series of samples it is desirable to highlight particularly the differences in preparation procedures and properties of different samples of the same series

  • Please indicate separately in the description: name of the laboratory, institution, contact person, contact details, grant number (if any), which is given to support the study.
